Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (8days/7nights)
Day 1: ARRIVAL in PHNOM PENH
Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport. Meet local tour guide at the airport and transfer to Hotel for check in. Start the day with visits around Phnom Penh with English-speaking tour guide with a private car. Morning visits include Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and Central Market. In afternoon, continue to visit National Museum and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Back to hotel for the night.
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH / SIEM REAP
Early morning, arrange for hotel transfer to take speedboat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap up the Tonle Sap River and across the Tonle Sap Lake (About 5hr boat trip).
Arrival in Siem Reap Port, meet local English-speaking tour guide transfer to hotel in Siem Reap for check in. Afternoon, continue to visit the "Great City" of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the evening, arrange to view the spectacular sunset at Bakeng hill, overlooking Angkor Vat. Buffet dinner with cultural show. Transfer to hotel in Siem Reap for the night.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP
Arrange to view Sunrise at Angkor Wat with the tour guide in the early morning. After that, continue to visit Thommanon temple, Takeo, one of Angkor's great mountains temple, Ta Prohm who become part of the jungle, Banteay Kdei with attractive carvings, Srah Srang, asat Kravan temple unique brick sculptures. In the afternoon, we visit the most famous magnificent Angkor Wat. Transfer to hotel in Siem Reap for the night.
Day 4: VISIT BANTEAY SREI / ROLUOS
Start the morning by visiting the enchanting Banteay Srei. Next, we visit Banteay Samre, with elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings, follow by a visit to a local village. In the afternoon, we proceed to visit the earliest temples of Angkor area – the Roluos group. The three Roluos temples are the Bakong Temple with beautiful carvings on the false doors and lintels, the funerary temple of Preah Ko, and Lolei Temple. Transfer to hotel in Siem Reap for the night.
DAY 5: SIEM REAP
Free & easy at Siem Reap without tour guide. Visited the post office in the morning. We visited their local "Old Market", "Central Market", shopping and pubs streets.
DAY 6: SIEM REAP / PHNOM PENH
In the morning, transfer from hotel to bus interchange, took the "Mekong Express" bus from Siem Reap back to Phnom Penh. On arrival in Phnom Penh, tour guide meet us and transfer us to the hotel in Phnom Penh.
In the afternoon, arrange for visits to places like Wat Phnom, Independence Monument, Choeung Ek and Russian market. Transfer back to hotel for the night.
DAY 7: PHNOM PENH
Free and easy in Phnom Penh without guide and driver.
DAY 8: PHNOM PENH / DEPART
Arrange for hotel to airport transfer early in the morning.
